May 19, 2010, nfogus@vtaig.com - The David Maus Collision Center announces the Grand Opening of their new location on Friday, May 21st at 11:00 am with a ribbon cutting ceremony, open house and the addition of 20 new jobs to the community. The new facility is located by David Maus Toyota at 1160 Rinehart Road in Sanford.
Attendees will be able to take tours of the new building and learn more about the David Maus Collision Center's strategic plans to handle an increase in vehicle repairs and continue to provide excellent customer service.
In addition to the Grand Opening, the staff of David Maus Toyota and RL Haines General Contractors', have been engaged in a community effort - the Pop Tab Challenge. Beginning in October and throughout the construction period, both companies have been collecting soda can pop tabs for the Ronald Mc Donald House, which they recycle for funds to operate their two homes in the Orlando community. A giant weighing machine will determine the winner on Friday.
Following the 2008 Body Shop of the Year Award, the David Maus Collision Center staff set its sights on the new state-of-the-art facility they would be moving into in 2010. The new facility will be able to handle an additional number of vehicles for collision repair, paint and dent repair. The new facility has also added new positions for certified technicians, body painters, administration and more.

President's Award Distribution
Included in Friday's Grand Opening Festivities, the entire staff of David Maus Toyota will be awarded the 2009 Toyota President's Award for their excellence in customer service in the sales and service departments. October 12, 2009 - October marked the beginning of production for the
Toyota Highlander sport utility vehicle at the company's plant in

model, production is a $450 million investment in a more efficient
utilization of the manufacturing capacity.October 6, 2009 - The entire staff of David Maus Toyota wore pink shirts and jeans on Friday, October 2nd and raised over $500 for the Susan G. Komen Foundation for a Cure in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness.
Each month the employees of David Maus Toyota host a "Jeans Day" as a fundraising initiative to raise money for local charities. Employees are given the opportunity to wear jeans to work instead of their daily uniform with the donation of $1. This month is Pink Month with each Friday as a Jeans Day in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness. The staff has raised money to sponsor the Susan G Komen Luncheon held each year downtown by women, to raise money for the local chapter.

September 14, 2009 - The 60th Anniversary of the Toyota Land Cruiser is marked with the next generation 2010 Toyota Land Cruiser being revealed at this week's Franfurt Auto Show. According to thecarconnection.com, "The latest iteration of the vehicles gets more by way of refinement and sophistication?".
At this time the only version of the Land Cruiser is the European variant but the US version is expected to adhere closely to its former self. The performance of the vehicle including horsepower and powertrain versions are still in the works, but the interior looks to remain the same as the European version giving more space due to a lower floor and flush-folding rear seats that collapse under the cargo deck. Upgraded audio, navigation and Bluetooth also make for a more flexible family vehicle.
Toyota has continued to keep its vehicles safe with seven airbags including driver's knee airbags, stability control, active torque control, downhill assist control and hill-start assist control. Sales will start in Europe in December with U.S. sales likely to come shortly after.
