On October 28th, I purchased a new 2010 Tundra with SR5 and XSP package. I would like to express my thoughts pertaining to my experience.
I had a bad experience at another Orlando Toyota dealer and walked out of there. I then headed straight to David Maus Toyota looking for a better experience. This was HANDS DOWN, the best buying experience I have ever had. I had what I thought were tough numbers to get to, but the team worked hard to earn my business successfully.
From my first contact via e-mail with Dan Martin, then Ricky and Nick, and Staci Rowland who was great following up with me for the next few days, and especially Leikun. Leikun has been one of the best guys to work with. The entire team went above and beyond to make sure we were completely happy with the purchase. The truck even came in a week early! My previous experience as a G.M. at a motorcycle dealership has taught me how difficult it can be to put together a winning team, so thank you for the great service at David Maus Toyota. This morning I was running late and thought I could get a "30 min Oil Change." When I got to the dealership the Service Rep, Erik, met and I explained the situation. He told me the "30 min..." program no longer exists, but he said he could do it in an hour. I was not happy, but I was already there in Sanford so I said yes. Erik not only had my truck ready in only 40 mins., but he did not charge me for the oil change. I am nearly 60 years old and I have dealt with many, many dealerships throughout the Southeast. I've never been treated better than what Erik did for me today. He is a valuable asset to your company and he will be THE reason I will return to purchase my 3rd David Maus Toyota. Erik K. has taken good care of us whenever we bring our Camry XLE in for service. Your service dept was able to work me in last minute for a 20K maint check at my recent visit on 9/4/09. Worth mentioning: My mother, who uses a walker, was with me at that visit. Both my mother and I were very impressed when Erik, after noticing that I had popped the trunk, took the initiative to pull my mother's walker from the trunk and have it ready for her to exit the car. He repeated this service by putting the walker back in the trunk and allowing my mother to get situated in the car before completing the paperwork and collecting payment for services rendered. David Maus Toyota dealership is by far the best car dealership I have ever dealt with in my life. The employees are totally friendly and upbeat and go out of their way to make sure you are taken care of and comfortable while your car is being serviced. During my last few visits, I barely had the chance to open the entrance door because someone was there to open it for me. I was a little concerned when I arrived since the service area was so busy so I thought that I would spend a long time waiting. The service advisor told me it would take 1 and a half hours for my oil change, tire rotation and to take care of the recalled gas pedal. I was out of there in 1.5 hours to the minute. GREAT experience. All went just like clock-work! No complaints of any kind. Your driver was nice enough to shuttle me to the nearby Seminole Towne Center; where I shopped and later met friends for lunch.
