The Special Edition model of the 2016 Toyota Corolla in Sanford is the most notable addition to the lineup this year. Designed to turn heads, the unique model comes with 17-inch alloy wheels with gloss black finish, a black interior with red contrast stitching, a red-accented dash and door trim, Smart Key with pushbutton start and Special Edition floor mats. The model is also available in three different exterior paint colors: Black Sand Pearl, Super White and Absolutely Red. In addition to the new Special Edition Corolla, an upgraded version of Entune Audio with Siri Eyes Free Mode is offered on all Corolla models. Connected Navigation is also now an option on LE, LE Eco and S models with Entune Audio Plus, while App Suite 2.5 replaces Bing with Destination Search and adds Slacker Radio.
Equipped on all variants of the 2016 Toyota Corolla in Sanford is a 1.8L four-cylinder engine. It delivers 132 horsepower and 128 lb.-ft. of torque on all trims, aside from the LE Eco which churns out 140 horsepower and 126 lb.-ft. of torque. On top of the increase in horsepower, the LE Eco also produces an EPA-estimated 34 mpg combined, 30 city and 40 highway.
