David Maus Toyota's 2016 Sequoia Review and Research
The fully capable 2016 Toyota Sequoia is a must-have for drivers with large families who also frequently tow. It comes with a strong V8 engine and is able to tow up to 7,400 pounds, while also offering seating for eight passengers. To provide a better in-car experience, all Entune audio systems featured on the 2016 Toyota Sequoia in Sanford have been updated this year. Across the board, all systems have been upgraded to 2.5 versions that now come with Siri Eyes Free mode, while select models receive additional enhancements. Slacker Radio and Destination Search (a replacement for Bing) have been added to Entune Premium Audio with In-Vehicle Navigation and Entune Premium JBL Audio with In-Vehicle Navigation. The SR5 trim gains Entune Audio Plus with Connected Navigation, allowing drivers to utilize their smartphones in order to stream navigation through the head unit.
Aside from the Entune updates for 2016, the Sequoia features a Safety and Convenience Package on Limited models that enhances security. It comes equipped with memory outside mirrors, a two-position power memory driver's seat and a Blind Spot Monitor, a system that helps drivers keep track of cars in their blind spots.
Outfitted on all variants of the 2016 Toyota Sequoia in Sanford is a 5.7L V8 engine. Delivering 381 horsepower and 401 lb.-ft. of torque, it's paired with a six-speed automatic transmission and helps deliver first-class performance across the roster.
